Mustang stallion from Schleich

Mustangs are also called "mestengos". The Spanish word means something like "stray". They are domestic horses that the Spanish brought to America by ship in the 16th century and ran away. Since they found abundant food in the fertile pastures and had few natural enemies other than the cougar, they multiplied very quickly. Even today, mustangs roam the country wild. They are led by a brave lead stallion, who protects his herd and is usually also the father of all foals. Country of origin: North America Feral horses; no targeted breeding Distribution: stick size: inconsistent approx. 140 - 150 cm, all colors and drawings are possible
