Ergonomic water snaffle double broken

Sizes: 135mm double broken mouthpiece made of argentan, enlarged contact surface on the tongue for a soft action suitable choice for horses that occasionally get strong, but are too sensitive for more impactful bits Bit width water snaffle: When correctly buckling bits with through -going rings (water snaffles), there should be no more than 0.5 cm of space on the right and left between the mouth angle and the bit ring, measured without taking up the rein. The ring should always be free to move and must not pinch the mouth angle. The bit shanks of conventional single-broken bits are always of different lengths for manufacturing reasons, which means that a little more pressure is always exerted on one side. It is therefore recommended to regularly turn over single-broken bits. Bits with continuous rings act exclusively on tension. When the reins are pulled, the pressure is transferred to the lower jaw via the tongue. Any pressure on the neck is not caused by the bit, but by the noseband. The movable rings can cushion or compensate for an unsteady or inexperienced rider's hand to a small extent. In addition, the horse can lift the bit a little by tightening the tongue and thus avoid too much pressure by pulling the reins for a short time.Basically, ring snaffles are suitable for every horse and every level of training and also recommended for breaking in young horses or for beginners.
