It avoids chafing because the cords adapt to the contours of the horse and no water or sand can collect under the girth. Also, due to the firm cord structure, the risk of pulling the girth too tight is reduced. With roller buckles, easy re-girting is guaranteed. Important: The girth is made under tension and when it is on the table and measured, it is much shorter than indicated because it then contracts again. When it is attached to the horse, it stretches again and reaches the desired length after 2-3x saddling. The buckles are completely backed, so that no fur can be pinched or torn out.
